You’ll see some old friendly faces, and some new ones. Although Mama is no longer with us, her spirit remains. Patrick is back at the helm in the dining room, while Mama’s sister Rita, and brother-in-law, Nick take command over the kitchen. Nick and Rita have enormous amounts of experience as owner/operators of many restaurants all over the country, including Sawasdee on the North Shore. Nick is a Bangkok-trained chef, bringing some of the most authentic Thai recipes you’ll find outside of Bangkok. Nick brings most of your favorite items back to the menu, but you’ll also find some exciting new additions, such as a favorite, traditional north east regional (Isaan) Thai dish, Nam Tok (waterfall pork), and a few of Nick’s personal creations, like the Bucktown Roll and Tuna Tower.
